What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Hand?
Hi, Im wifi ting on behalf. Of a friend who cannot use her right hand right now. She went down to Washington, D.C. Y day and when She got home She noticed that her right hand was swollen and it had a stinging pain. It was also hot to the touch. She went to a clinic and got an x-tray taken and there was nothing wrong. The dr. Gave her prognosone to take over five days. The swelling is back again today. What should I do?

It may be due to injury. For that you may require X-ray hand after orthopedic surgeon consultation. For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen. Restrict hand movements. You may require surgical intervention after surgeon consultation.
