General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury. Some of the most common problems are sprained ligaments, meniscus tears, tendinitis.

I suggest doing an x-ray of the knee to exclude a fracture. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication suggest as Ibuprofen for the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
