What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Wrists Or Hands ?

i am 40 year old.i do not have any medical problem.but from one week i have swelling and pain in my left hand below the thumb and on the wrist.i did not go to dr yet.it comes and goes .please tell me is it dangerous. i am 40 year old female .no medical problem. i have 4 childrens.i am very worried about my left hand pain and swelling.

Hi, Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum.
You are having Wrist joint arthritis. Get yourself examined by a Orthopedist or a Rheumatologist and get a X ray done. If the pain is severe take Tab. Ibuprofen 400mg one SOS.

i would like to suggest u tht, u take some contrast bath therapy i.e
u hv to put ur hand 1 min in cold icy chilled water followed by hot water for 3 min.
for 3 sets twice a day
definitely u will get relief.
