What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Wrists?

I had a ganglion cyst burst. my wrist is swollen and I m in extreme pain. I can barely move. My ortho put me in a splint and gave me injection of anti inflammatory drug. 24 +hours later and I m still in pain, there is still a lump and cant use my wrist. What should I do next?

Hi,

Since it has not improved after ganglion burst (closed rupture by impact) and anti-inflammatory or steroid injection, it needs operative excision under radial nerve block. Simple day care procedure.
