Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My father is suffering from leg swolling (below knee) till foot. and also feaver for more than five days. took blood test and seems to be normal. Day by day pain and sollwing is increasing. Please suggest why this is happening? and what the reason and what treatment we can take for this?
As the swelling is an issue of the reduced micturition and decreased venous return. I will advise for the hot water fermentation and elevation of the limb. Use compression stocking as well.
Do static Quadriceps and static hamstring along with ankle toe movements to help improve the muscle strength which will support the drainage of the metabolic waste.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
