What Causes Swelling And Pain On The Ankle After An Injury?
I hurt the right side of my left ankle and it was swollen and sore for about a week before i decided to go to the dr. They did xrays and said they didnt see a break but its still hurts pretty bad especially when i use it normally. i have no problem putting weight on it or bending it down, just bending it up like walking normal or flexing.

Your symptoms seem to be related to the injury. I suggest maintaining the area immobilized.
I also recommend to use ice compresses and use anti-inflammatory medicine such as Ibuprofen 400mg three times a day.
