What Causes Swelling And Pain On The Face After Suffering From Sinusitis?
My wife went to urgent care for severe earache, they said her sinus won t drain because the flap is so swollen it won t open to let it drain..she has taken ibuprofen,Zyrtec and benedryl. Now her face is swollen and hurts to barely touch..what else can I do..hot or cold compress..hot feels better but I m afraid that hinders the swelling

At this point when the face hurts to touch she may need to take antibiotics and corticosteroids for congestion.
Also, she may need to take pseudoephedrine to lower congestion.
