What Causes Swelling And Redness In Hand Inspite Of Taking Rocephin Shot?
hello. my left hand began to swell a few days ago between my knucles and turned red. well within a few hours it swelled to the 3rd knucle. i went to the e.r. they said it was staph infection. they gave me a rocephin shot and sent me home with a antibiotic. that didnt help. the next morning about 4 am i woke up in alot of pain and the swelling went on to the other knucles. another doctor said it looks more like a spider bite. so he gave me another antibiotic and told me to keep heat on it to try to draw the infection to a point so it cant come out. well i have and the ball is getting bigger. so is my hand. now its up to my wrist on both sides of my hand and starting to go up my arm.....my hand hurts i can barely move my fingers which are cold. and it is still swollen.... please help me
