What Causes Swelling And Redness In The Eyelids After A Cataract Removal Surgery?

I had cataract removal surgery last Wed. Everything has been normal, doing the prescribed drops, vision has been good. This afternoon, in the past 2-3 hours, my eyelid has swollen, it s red, tender to the touch, and the redness extends beyond the outer corner. Ideas?
