It seems like infection that can be either bacterial or viral in nature.. If it has happened after taking huge amounts of alcohol then it can also be due to alcohol intoxication.. You should consult a Physician and get a blood test done to rule out the cause.. They can narrow down the appropriate cause so that treatment can be initiated.. For now you can take symptomatic treatment to relieve the symptoms like if the tongue is painful you can gargle with specialised mouthwash like Magic mouthwash as it contains numbing agent and will help in reducing pain.. You can suck ice and hold cool water in mouth frequently throughout the day to reduce inflammation and redness.. Along with it you can also soothe your tongue with warm saline gargles and take Vitamin B complex supplements.. Take plenty of yogurt as it will help your digestion also due to being a probiotic.. Avoid spicy and irritant foods..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
