What Causes Swelling And Stiffness In Hands?

Why some days my hands are fine other days very swollen and stiff could it be what I am eating, I had stomach operation about 8 months ago and lost a lot of weight and I had no pain or stiffness in my hands, now I have put on some weight this is when the swelling came back again could it be what I am eating

As per my clinical experience, recurrent swelling and stiffness in hands do indicate
- Auto immune related disorders
- Short bowel syndrome with malabsorption of certain vital nutrients, giving secondary arthritis
- Rheumatoid manifestations
- Others
