Sudenly my ankle and foot has become swollen, red and tender. The pain is very acute and tender to the touch. I noticed pain last night before I went to sleep and it has gotten worse as the day has went on. I can t see any bite marks or any real sign of wound. If I don t move my foot it becomes very stiff and hard to move. The focal point of the pain and swelling is on the outside of my ankle on the bone. Pain goes down to my foot about mid foot to the outside and up the top of the ankle mid calf. I am starting to feel pain in the muscle of the calf in in my bones in the foot. I tried to ice it and the pain increased. The pain doesn t seem to get less if I elevate my foot nor does it increase if I move or walk on foot. Some varicose vain shave popped up in the top of the foot. Only redness no other discoloration. I can touch the area with pain but not so bad that I can t bare it. I m heathy and not over weight. I stay active so I m am confused and nervous. I feel like it s a bite or dating but I can t see any signs of such?????? Please help.
