What Causes Swelling Around Ankle And Knee?
My left leg has been swelling Around the ankle and sometimes the knee. I have been taking a prescription. Water pill for a month. I also had a sonogram on my leg checking for a blood clot which was negative. Swelling down in the morningn but by evening I can barely put weight on my foot. Any ideas?

Noted your question. Such type of swelling could be due to either low protein (albumin), heart issues, or liver issues. It could also be due to some medicines used for blood pressure (amlodipine).
