What Causes Swelling Around Surgical Stitches On The Nose?

I had some skin cancer removed from my nose on Oct 21st. The stitches were removed a week later. It seems to be healed up except there is still a hard swollen area on the side of my nose. Shouldn t that be gone by now? I was told to started massaging it with small circular movements a week after the stiches were removed and some clear orange stuff came out of a pore near the bottom of my nose. What is that?

If persists you can consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
