what is your age and sex? for how long you are suffering from it? do you have
diabetes or hypertension? any other associated problem?
Swelling around the ankles is called
pedal edema. It is never normal.There is need to look at your heart,
liver and
kidney. after then any reasoned conclusion can be drawn
If I am your attending physician I will get your FBC,
ESR , LFTs, and RFTs.. In light of these tests cause for pedal edema can be identified.
Meanwhile stay calm and avoid salt intake.
