What Causes Swelling Around The Eyes After A Head Injury?
Monday I fall down and hit my forehead in front of my house on the ground I right a way put ice on for a couple of hours. I fault ok all I have is a very large lump on my forehead. I m a DVT patient for the last two days I notice that the lump is still there but I now have swelling around my right eye and it s very purple around that eye also and it s spreading across to the left eye it seems. I don t know should I be worry and go see my doctor or wait to see what happens.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. You should immediately consult neurologist and get done MRI brain to rule out internal brain injury. You are having swelling around one eye and is now spreading to another. It is also purple in color. So possibility of brain heamorrhage is more likely. So without wasting time, consult neurologist and discuss all these. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
