Hello, so my kidneys seem a little swollen for about 6 weeks now. Not really in pain but i notice them more then before. When i go to the restroom in the mornings. It seems like my bowels are not as large. It is very sporadic. I feel like my food is digesting slower. I have been running a lot lately and the weight is not coming off. I eat very late normally and it is my largest meal of the day. I feel like something is very different. I am 37 years old and 255 pounds 5 11.
The most common cause for this blockage is a kidney stone, but scarring and blood clots can also cause acute unilateral obstructive uropathy. A blocked ureter can cause urine to go back up into the kidney, which causes swelling. This backflow of urine is known as vesicoureteral reflux (VUR).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
