What Causes Swelling Around The Right Knee?
I believe that I have water on the knee It is only on the outer right side of my right knee. Could it tendinitis ? Trying to reduce swelling now by elevating my knee and icing it. I here been uncomfortable for several days and it it is difficult for me to navigate the stairs particularly going down.

It could be due to minor tear or injury to tendon or ligament. Consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan for further assessment.
As of now, apply ice packs and take bed rest for symptomatic relief.
