What Causes Swelling Behind The Knees?

I just noticed i have swelling behind my knees. Im wondering if it could be my cholesterol pill , rouvistatin 5 mg. It seems like such a low dose. I had to stop taking simvistatin last yr (20mg) due to pain in joints. Ive also been taking a supplelment for joints (agilese / young lIving) which contains turmeric. Thoughts?

Hello, Thanks for the query.
The condition mentioned "selling behind the knees" is unlikely to be due to rosuvastatin. The side effect of this drug are very similar to all other statins which include muscle and joint pain, sleep problems, constipation, mild nausea and /or stomach pain and indigestion etc. The problem noticed may not be connected to any of the medications that are being taken. Thanks.
