What Causes Swelling Behind The Shoulder After A Rotator Cuff Surgery?
After Rotator cuff surgery for full thickness tear and shoulder spur removal I am still in constant pain, 8 weeks post surgery. Therapy makes it even worse. Swelling on arm behind bicep and between shoulder and man boob. Hand a little swollen too. Spasms I. Arm like a dog shaking itself. Very hard to sleep, very hard to function at all, cost ant burning pain with some infrequent sharp stabs. Ibuprofen don t help. Is this normal?
"As"per your clinical history is concerned please do physio therapy for at least 12 weeks and clinically access after every week by your Doctor. Please talk to your Doctor to include [serrapeptase]for post-operative inflammation.
To prevent this in future -
1)use the correct body positions during activities
2)Do not lift objects that are too heavy for you.
3)Try to avoid overusing your arms doing repeated movements that can injure your bursa or tendons.
Hope that helps
