What Causes Swelling Below Right Ear And Neck Along With Mild Fever?

3 days back when i woke up in the morning i found swelling below and aside my right right ear, accompanied by pain and mild fever. I went to the doctor who gave me sum medicines. But day by day swelling has increased and spread up to my neck and left ear. Doctor says its MUMPS but i m confused and worried.

Hi,
It seems that yuo might be having mumps i.e. parotitis.
This is viral infection and takes its own time.
Anti-viral medicine might not give its proper effect if started after few days.
Take anti-inflammatory medicine for pain and inflammation.
Avoidcold drinks, chilies and junk food.
Ok and take care.
