What Causes Swelling Below The Tongue?

hi my little girl she is 4 yrs old was hit under her tongue. i noticed a big swollen area. doctors diagnosed it as saliva glands are storing salive rather than execreting it.a drainage was performed dut it refilled again and they suggested removing the gland altogether. is there is any thing that help rather than putting her under this experince?

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a salivary gland infection.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.
I recommend massaging the affected gland, applying warm compresses to the affected gland,rinsing your mouth with warm salt water.
