What Causes Swelling From Hip To Foot Post Heart Catheterization?
had a heart cath 17 days ago, had swelling in groin area and they fixed an aneurysm. Released me the same day, but the leg is swelled from hip to foot twice the size still. I need to know what this is? Had ultrasound and said no clots but that s all I was told.

Your symptoms could be related to an infection. I recommend checking also complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation and D- dimmer plasma levels. Wearing a compression sock may be needed.
