What Causes Swelling From The Groin To The Knee?

I m overweight and my right upper thigh from knee to groin is swelled about 4 bigger than left I ve had ultra sound no blood clot it s been like this for 2-1/2 months I had taken a trip to Florida may 26_ 3 April did surf fish. And I did slip in shower but not bad my doctor thinks it s like a pregnant women belly cutting off flow to get rid of excess water build up no blood test were done I did start new inhaler anoro I don t know what to do

Hi,

The swelling from your going to your right upper thigh about 4 bigger than left following the slip you had in the shower, it might be due to trauma from the hit.

Good news that no blood clot is there. However, should observe for any unusual symptoms. Keep your leg raised.

Apply cold compresses locally; if more than 72 hours from slip, should apply alternating warm and cold compresses.

I think the problem is within the lymphatic drainage, so discuss with your doctor and angiologist to check them out.

With regards to this Anoro inhaler, I should know first the diagnosis it was prescribed. That would explain the other symptoms too.

Please write me back and describe in details regarding the respiratory problems you are having.

Discuss with your primary physician to set an appointment with angiologist.
