Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have varicose veins at the top of my left leg which I have had for 30 years. These are unsightly but cause not problems. About 6weeks ago my left foot swelled up. The veins on this ankle and foot are now obvious and my ankle/foot is sore it aches constantly like toothache. The ankle and foot swell slightly when I have done lots of walking. My foot at times looks blue.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the varicose vein then all the necessary care need to be taken and first is avoid standing for long time, try to put the leg in elevated position, surgical treatment is the best option for this and this need to be considered, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
