Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I slipped on the ice about 24 hours ago and hit my forehead, also resulting in a large cut and scrape on my face. My eye is now almost swollen shut, I have not been able to sleep, and have vomited today. I thought maybe the vomiting might be a result of not sleeping, but should I seek medical attention?
Hello This could be a sign of head injury or bleeding inside the skull or in eyelids
If you can upload me a photo I will be able to guide you better I would like to know if you are having giddiness or bleeding from ear nose or eye
In my opinion you should immediately consult your doctor for examination and a CT scan if need be.
You need to keep your eye open and watch for neurological signs Don't stay alone at home Keep in touch with somebody and immediately seek medical help to be on safe side.
