What Causes Swelling In Face Along With Painful Joints And Headaches?

I have got the mumps, one Doctor thought it was, another did,nt had swollen parotid gland under right ear face swelled up very painful, jaw painful, aching joints, nausea, upset tummy, exhaustion, blurred vision, headaches, I am on warfarin after heart op, and stroke a year ago, now have pinpoint red rash all over belly and in groins, no itching or soreness, still feel awful

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the swelling face involving parotid gland, blurred vision, body rashes do indicate possible auto immune disorder manifesting at various system disturbances. In my clinic, I do recommend a systemic examination of patient with relevant investigations as:
- Complete hemogram with platelet count and morphology
- ESR
- Coagulation profile with bleeding time, clotting and prothrombin time
- Presence of any particular antibodies in the serum

Till that time, first instance would be stopping further doses of warfarin as there is high chances of uncontrollable bleeding.
