What Causes Swelling In Feet, Legs, Thighs And Abdomen With Ear Infection?
Hi I am very concerned for a friend of mine she is in her 70 s she does have an ear infection but a few days ago she started swelling very bad her feet, legs, thighs, and abdomen. it seems to be coming up her body she does have several health problems. but this started before the ear ach. Do you have any suggestions for the swelling ? I feel like she may need to be on a fluid pill but I m not a Dr.

In my opinion your friend is developing oedema i.e fluid in tissues which is causing swelling of whole body.This may be due to problems of heart lungs or liver.You must get her checked by physician or get back to us with details of the symptoms so that most probable diagnosis could be established and managed accordingly.
