What Causes Swelling In Hands, Cheeks And Eyes While On Montair LC?
Hi Doctor I went to worlds of wonder water park and next day when I woke up I saw my skin red dry and swollen up my hands also and my eyes too, cheeks all are swollen up I am taking montair LC from last 9 months as my IGE level is too high I am really worried about my skin allergy after showing my skin to doctor I just had 1 tablet of Avil. I am really really worried about my face swelling
Based on the history you have shared, it shows flare in the allergic reaction and it doesn't seem to be due to montair however if it has failed to control the allergic reaction, you will need anti histamines like cetrizine or loratidine along with oral or injectable steroid shots.
Also a review by a nearby health facility to rule out any signs of anaphylactic shock should be assessed.
You should get skin prick tests to evaluate for the cause of allergic reaction. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
