What Causes Swelling In Knee And Leg Of A Person Suffering With UTI?
my 65 yr old husband got a uti and his rt knee and leg swelled huge..he never hurt it in any way..had surgery to remove leg infection but still very ill ..went back to dr removed 34 staples to find out his white cells are still fairly high ...ct scan sent asap to urologist who said he has a piece of intestine attached to the bladder called a fistula..how worried should we be they say he needs surgery to find out if its diviticulitis or cancer but aren t doing a test on him for 2 wks and who knows when surgery..i want to know what kind of surgeon I should get..i don t want to lose him...

I really appreciate your concern, your husband might be having surgical conditions and it may not the single surgeon could do the surgery but it has to be done by surgical team that includes GI surgeon, general surgeon, Uro-surgeon and others, hope this information helps.
