What Causes Swelling In Left Calf And Forearm Post Left Knee Replacement?

I had a total left knee replacement 6 months ago, all of a sudden, yesterday, the outside of my left calf & my left forearm is very swollen, I am 59 yes old, this has never happened before, what doyou think? No pain, only swelling. Thank you so much, Nicole

I really appreciate your concern, the reason behind the swelling could be circulatory disturbances, for confirmation may need clinical examination and Doppler study till then keep the leg in elevated position hope this information helps.
