It swells occasionally (always during night) and hardly take few hours of sleep to get back to normal...It neither pains nor it compresses when pressed..And the size is also gradually increasing..What is the reason and what kind of doctors I can consult ?

Hi,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Swelling occurs as a result of rupture of small blood vessels of the skin.
If despite the swelling in forehead you feeling good you don't need to worry.

You can put some cold in the swallow area and if she has pain you can give her some Ibuprofen.

If there are any other associated symptoms like fever, vomiting, excessive crying, loss of consciousness, convulsions etc you should consult a pediatrician as soon as possible. In this case a CT scan of brain will be needed.

Hope it helps.
