What Causes Swelling In Lips & Cheek?
I WOKE UP YESTERDAY WITH A VERY SORE SWOLLEN AREA ON MY LIP...AFTER LOOKING CLOSER. I NOTICED A PIN DOT HOLE AND I WASHED THE AREA WITH SOAP AND WATER AND CLEAR PUSS CAME OUT. I APPLIED AN ANTIBIOTIC CREAM. TODAY THE SWELLING HAS SPREAD TO MY CHEEK AND DOWN TO MY CHIN AND IS NOW RED AND VERY PAINFUL. COULD THIS BE A SPIDER BITE AND WHAT TYPE? SHOULD I SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION?

According to your clinical symptoms i suppose that you have developed a severe infection.
I would suggest you to consult to an Oral Surgeon and get a checkup done.
Take tab Augmentin, Tab Aceclofenac serratiopeptidase combination, tab Rantac 300mg for three to five days and look for the results.
Apply antibiotic cream topically over the lesion.
