What Causes Swelling In Lower Body?

SIR, I AM HAVING A SWELLING ON LEFT SIDE DOWN WHICH IS NOT GOING SINCE LAST 6 MONTHS. SKIN SPECIALIST SAYS MAYB E SOME INFECTION. WHAT COULD BE THE POSSIBLE REASON??i THINK MAY BE SOME SOME BONE GROWTH. NO ITCHING ,NO BREATHING PROBLEM. SOMETIMES LITTLE SWELLING ,SOMETIMES LITTLE MORE,NOT TOO MUCH. NO PAIN.

I really appreciate your concern, such condition can be treated with both steroid and antibiotic if this is skin lesion with infection, if this does not responds to this then it need to be investigated and biopsy is must, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
