What Causes Swelling In Lymph Nodes Behind The Ear Of A Toddler?

My 2 yr old was bitten by fire ants (about 32 bites in total) I administered Benadryl and topical antihistine immediately after cleansing. He hadn t had any lingering adverse affects, but today I noticed swollen lymph nodes behind his ears. Is there a probable correlation?

you have given corectmedication. lymph node has been affected due to inflammatory reaction. child may need systemic medication. consult paddeaiatrc doctor symptoms are correlated. keep watch for progress.
