What Causes Swelling In Penis, Legs And Hips?
I have a grossley swollen scrotum that is about the size of a baseball/softball and my penis also swollen and contorted, even when flaccid. In addition my legs, from hip to toes are swolen (sometimes worse than others) and reddish blue with scattered while spots as swelling in dresses. What could my dilemma be?

Hi,
Noted your history of swelling of scrotum, penis, legs from hips to toes.
This is a classical sign of lymphedema.
The commonest cause is Filariasis. Other causes can be idiopathic meaning cause may not be found, any sort of trauma, inflammation to the lymphatic system can cause such changes.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations for filaria, the slide is taken at midnight.
Other investigations of blood, urine, stool.
Ultrasonography and color doppler of both lower limbs, abdomen for lymph node enlargement.
Lymphangiography.
All these will help to find the cause.
Other than prescription based medical management surgery may be necessary.
You may need multiple consultations of various Specialists.
