What Causes Swelling In The Abdomen?

I have been experiencing a swelling like feeling in my abdominal area for a while now. My doctor has checked my gall bladder on two occasions. The first time it was around 45% but the second time it was showing 90%. My problem has not improved, in fact it seems worse. Do you have any ideas of what the problem could be.
