What Causes Swelling In The Ankles After Taking Tramadol And Trazodone?

Thank you. I am recuperating from back surgery and I take Tramadol and Trazodone. My ankles swelled up when I started these meds. Had Doppler-- not a blood clot. I read some place that one or the other of these can cause swelling of the extremities. Now I cannot find the source of that info. Have you heard of this? Thank you.
