Hello,
I read your message and understood your problem.
I see you have
diabetes type 2 on
insulin treatment,
hypertension and now you are experiencing ankle and feet swelling.
Ankle and feet swelling or edemas are quite common in diabetic people. You must take good control to your blood
glucose levels in order to prevent them and other complications as well. Take the medication regularly as the doctor has prescribed to you, eat healthy food and avoid sedentary life.
Hypertension itself and especially hypertension drugs may promote edemas. On the other side, the edemas itself raise the blood pressure. This means that this two condition are very linked to each other.
I do not eliminate the possibility that the swelling is not from another cause. Maybe you have hurt them or
arthritis is developing.
I want to emphasize that you need to control diabetes and hypertension. If you strictly follow the doctor's advice and the swelling do not disappear than go to a clinic contact a doctor and do further examinations.
Hope this is useful for you
