General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Swollen legs, ankles may be a sign of uncontrolled blood pressure, kidney problem or due to drug effect as amlodipine.
So please undergo evaluation for kidney function tests and blood press monitoring.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi, General & Family Physician
