diagnosed with membranous glomerulonephritis high protein in my urine and low albumin I can t walk because I have pain and swelling legs and arms and now my face my doctor prescribed water pills and some heart medication then tells me it should resolve soon it has been 14 days and I am feeling worse what options and treatments should I seek
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. You are having chronic kidney disease. Since you are not improving with water pills, you should follow these things. 1. Fluid restriction (less than 1.5 liters per day) and salt restriction in diet. 2. Get done serum protein level. If low then Albumin infusion is indicated. 3. Get done sodium and potassium levels.
