What Causes Swelling In The Chin And Cheeks?

I ve been on norco for past two weeks due to knee replacement. I noticed some facial swelling around my eyes and forhead on Monday but tonight around 5 I could tell my chin was very swollen after a nap and now it has spread to the left side of my bottom lip and cheek. I ve only had 1 and a half pain pills today. I did take 2 benadryl at 8.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Swelling of chin and cheeks that is gradually spreading to lips after taking Narco appears to be an allergic reaction causing swelling of face and lips..
Narco contains a combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone..

So first of all stop taking any more dose of Narco..

You should also consult an Emergency room and get evaluated..
You can be given a steroid shot to reduce the swelling faster and along with it oral anti allergics can be advised..

In case if you need painkillers then alternate groups of painkillers can be advised that are compatible for you..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
