What Causes Swelling In The Clitoris After Oral Sex?
Hello, About a week ago I received oral sex from my partner and within 3-4 days from that my clitours has swollen up and and was sensitive to touch. Now it s been a week and the small bumps that where on the hood of the clit are beginning to scab and peel. I ve been flushing it with perioxide to lower chances of infection. What do you suggest this is? What should I do to temporarily flush it/ stop the pain?
Swelling in the clitoris is caused generally due to inflammation as a result of poor hygiene. Do not flush with peroxide as it can aggravate inflammation by its chemical nature.
Kindly cleanse the region with a mild antiseptic solution like Savlon. Take sitz bath twice daily.
You may also need to use an over-the-counter (OTC) cortisone cream to reduce inflammation, irritation and itching. Take anti-inflammatory medication like Ibuprofen.
Wear loose-fitting undergarments. Abstain from sexual activities till the symptoms subside completely.
Maintain good personal hygiene.
Gradually, your symptoms should subside and be back to normal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
