What Causes Swelling In The Collar Bone And Severe Arm Pain?

I am 29 years old, obese and tall female. Suddenly I am having swelling on the collar bone and throughout my left arm for the past 4 weeks. I have extreme pain in these places. I tend to have tingling in the hand making me unable to catch anything hardly for few mins. I am already having spondylosis for past 2 years but my neurologist says that this swelling is not a nerve problem. I am confused as to what is happening. Which doctor should I see?

Hi,

Is there any history of lifting weight or injury? Tingling in your arms simply means that there is the compression of the nerve in your neck, it could be due to a displacement in your cervical spine, so get MRI cervical spine done. Till then use hot fomentation, apply locally diclofenac gel, take over the counter painkillers.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
