What Causes Swelling In The Earlobe?

So 4 years ago I noticed a slight swelling on my ear lobe it continued to swell over the years until January of this year when it poped. Because what came out looked like a boil I left if go and used some drawing save to pull it the rest of the way out or so I thought..it began swelling again into a blood blister then continued to swell and pop every month but now it s just blood that comes out..I have no idea what this is and it s starting to scare me..I went to see my doctor bUT she s on lOA from work and her nurse practitione took her patient list he s dumb as a sack of rocks too scared to even touch it and barely looked at it, and also took no samples... so I ask what is it and what should I do.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

So far as symptoms narrated here, it is most likely a sebaceous cyst over the earlobe. A consultation with an expert consultant surgeon is the best way to get diagnosed and cured accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
