What Causes Swelling In The Eyelid With Severe Pain In The Eye And Forehead?
My eye feels like a contact is twisted in it but is not! My eyelid is swollen and feels bruised to the touch. Started yesterday and was burning and red which still is. A sharp pain comes in eye and to forehead with exposure to light. i do seem to have allergy type symptons in sinus and ear. I am seen yearly for glaucoma! Have not needed treatment. i have been using Elestat the last 2 days. Thank you!!!!

Swelling in eye lid, pain, bruising, redness and bruising are likely to be due to allergy.
I suggest you to consult an ophthalmologist for clinical assessment, diagnosis and thus management. Elestat eye drops are anti-histaminic which can be effective in case of allergy.
