What Causes Swelling In The Feet After Taking Jentadueto?

I have been on janumet for 4 months now with success. I have lost 16 pounds and went from fasting 300 to 125 blood sugar. Without conferring with me, my prescription changed from janumet to jentadueto when I picked it up from drugstore. I have took it for two days and my feet are swollen more than usual. What is the difference between the 2 medicines?

Hello,

Went through your post, these are two different drugs one contains sitagliptin and another Linagliptin and both have metformin.

Ideally, you should continue the same meds which you were taking because it was not causing any side effects and sugar was in control so go back to old medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
