What Causes Swelling In The Feet And Ankles?

My feet and ankles are swollen. I have a cyst on top of my left foot which causes the foot to swell every day it goes down at night.Normally my right foot does not swell. I have a bulging disc that is sitting on the sciatica nerve in my lower back and I m going to physical theraphy to ease the pain. I have had one epidural to help this condition, but the pain is slowly returning. Could that have something to do with the swollen feet?

Hi,

The spine and disc related problems can cause pain on the lower limb. But it will not cause swelling.

As a first line of management, you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen or Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persist, you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
