What Causes Swelling In The Feet And Ankles?

I have cad 8 stents and ICDalso chfhave recently developed swollen legs feet and ankles. I recently had my d diner tested and it was 1924. Should I take water pills or see my dr first. I had the sonogram and I don’t have a blood clot. I’m on aspirin and Plavix

If there is no DVT then an echo, liver function tests , abdominal ultrasound and renal function tests, urine for albumin should be done to look for other causes of the peripheral edema.
