What Causes Swelling In The Feet While On Quinapril?

I recently had my dosage of quinapril increased from 20 to 30 units by having to take my 20 plus another manufactures 10 unit pill. Now my feet have become swollen. Leg scan revealed no clotting. I am going on 92 years and take some other stuff for aging and prostate. Question, should I stop taking the 10 unit pill to see if doing that will alleviate the swelling. And yes, my doctor is aware of this. I would like to know if my thinking is on the right track here. The 20 unit pill , a generic different manufacture could be split in half so as to take the 30 unit dosage and not take the new 10 unit pill. Thanks. also I am a male.
